Title: Chuck Anderson.I love to watch artist’s create pieces of art and this weekend was no exception. I attended the UICA’s 2012 Live Coverage event and like every year I attend my camera was in awe of a lot of amazing art and artists. I did however set out this year with one simple rule: You will buy NO ART this year! You see… the word on the street is that I have an art purchasing problem and Live Coverage normally does me and my pocket book in. For most of the night I was very well behaved - I looked at pieces of art that I wanted and humbly said to myself “NO!” Well that went well for me until I saw the progression of Chuck Anderson’s piece. You see, I’ve been a fan of his work for a few years now and as soon as my eyes made contact with it I was off to grab a bidding number. I once again had that “art buying high” that I love so much. Sad ending to this story is that I was outbid and I went home with no art, just like I told myself I would do. Tear.If you are not familiar with Chuck’s work make sure to visit No Pattern (link below). I love his use of color, bold styles, and use of lines/directionals. He rocks it out like no other! No Pattern / Chuck Andersonwww.nopattern.com
